STATEMENT OF WORK FOR ADMINISTATAIVE SUPPORT - 5 EMPLOYEES NEEDED

Contractor’s employees will be scheduled to work 8 hours/day from 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. PST
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
Contract will be awarded on or around March 1, 2012. Period of performance will end September 30, 2012.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE
Two of the temporary employees used in the performance of this contract will be assigned to:
Outpatient Clinic
Redding, CA 96002
(960 hours per person)
The remaining three temporary employees will be assigned to:
Medical Center
Mather, CA 95655
(960 hours per person)
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Processing:

• Temporary employees shall be assigned roles as PIV Registrars or PIV Issuers.
• Once appointed to their work assignments, the temporary employees will be trained and certified as PIV Officials and will be able to access the PIV Enrollment Portal.
• Temporary employees shall be responsible for the collection of demographic and biometric information and identity proofs the card applicant based on I-9 Form standard identification source documents.
• Temporary employees shall validate the identity of the card applicant and produce the identification card and issues the PIV credentials.
• In addition to the Enrollment Portal access, the PIV Issuers require access to the Card Management System (CMS).
• PIV Issuers shall be responsible for reviewing information already entered into the VA PIV Enrollment Portal.
• Temporary employees shall update computer databases and schedule employees using Microsoft Outlook and Excel programs.
• Respond to requests within a reasonable period of time without allowing a backlog to accumulate.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries concerning PIVs in a polite and knowledgeable manner using the most expeditious means.
• Deal diplomatically with staff members and the public when explaining procedures for PIVs.
• Interfaces on a daily basis with PIV Sponsors in each service to facilitate the process associated with the process of PIV credentials.
• Exercise a high degree of initiative in coordinating and assisting with the workflow within the unit.
• Be able to type 35-40 words per minute.
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of computer programs, such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
• Have a good working knowledge of the laws governing release of information activities, Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act.
