Description
TPS has a customer in the Grandville MI area looking for Machine Operators.
Operate various machines such as drill presses and radial drills, automatic cut-off saws, ironworker, milling machines (including the Cincinnati mill), lathes, shapers, overhead cranes, etc, perform simple set-ups and use of fixtures, perform complex bending operations, read and adhere to simple detail and assembly prints, maintain tools, check work and make necessary adjustments.
Machine operators should be capable of using such hand tools as required such as micrometers, verniers, gauges, measuring devices, etc.
A Machine Operator will be required to operate the overhead crane and the forklift and be willing to train other employees on the duties of his classification.
